Thank you for your interest in contributing to UGGP News (United Gazette of Global Policy). At UGGP News, we believe journalism is a public service and a collaborative effort. By sharing diverse perspectives, we strengthen our mission: to provide independent, impartial, and globally relevant reporting on diplomacy, governance, economics, and international affairs.
UGGP News is read by policymakers, diplomats, academics, executives in international organizations, and globally engaged citizens. Our audience expects rigorous analysis, factual accuracy, and balanced reporting. If you share our passion for responsible global journalism, we’d like to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
Contributors should be experts, scholars, practitioners, or professionals in fields relevant to international policy and governance. Submissions should:
- Focus Areas: diplomacy, multilateralism, international law, economics, human rights, sustainability, global development, and conflict resolution.
- Length: Articles should run between 1,000 and 1,500 words; longer features may be considered.
- Originality: Work must be 100% original, unpublished elsewhere, and free from plagiarism.
- Tone: Balanced, fact-based, and globally inclusive. Avoid sensationalism or partisan bias.
- Language: US English, written clearly for a global audience.
How to Pitch
We encourage pitching your idea before sending a full draft. Email info@uggp.com
with:
- A working title
- A brief outline (150–200 words)
- Your professional bio (max 100 words)
- Relevant links to prior work
If your pitch is accepted, you may submit your draft as a Word document. Please allow 5–7 business days for review.
Submission Guidelines
- File Format: Word (.doc/.docx) only.
- Author Bio: Include a 100-word bio and headshot (500×500 px).
- Images: Up to two high-quality, rights-cleared images (1200×600 px).
- Links: Max of two contextual links; promotional linking is not allowed.
- Editing: UGGP reserves the right to edit for clarity, length, and style.
Editorial Principles
- Independence: Articles must avoid conflicts of interest and disclose relevant affiliations.
- Transparency: All sources should be credible and cited with inline hyperlinks.
- Respect: Submissions must avoid hate speech, discrimination, or defamation.
After Publication
Once accepted, your article will be published on UGGP News and promoted via our social media and newsletters. Authors are encouraged to share widely. Articles published with UGGP should not be republished elsewhere without permission.
